A Virtual Firm
Mikat Public Relations was founded in La Crosse, Wis., in 1996 when Annette Mikat relocated to the area. Building upon several years’ experience in both corporate and agency environments, she created a public relations firm to serve clients in southwestern Wisconsin. Demand for the service grew quickly in the Midwest, and the company responded by building strategic alliances with other public relations counselors, graphic designers, technology consultants and other professionals to ensure full-service capabilities. Today the company serves clients in the Mountain West and the West Coast in addition to the Midwest. As a virtual firm, our clients profit from the expertise of a team while benefiting from one-on-one counsel and planning direction with the company principal.
